Lesson 2 Novelty, Creativity, Innovation and Invention

The creative person is one who generates new ideas while the creative process is how these new ideas, solutions, and inventions are produces. The aim is to understand the complexity of creativity and to comprehend its mystery through a structured program of learning.

Capital "C" : change a creating something new and need certain idea to process.

We start something with a small "c" and form it to a capital "C".

Novelty 

Novelty is the quality of being new. 

Creativity

The generation of new ideas or a new way of doing things.

Innovation

The process of making improvements by introducing something new, the realization of a creative idea in a social context.

Invention

Those who are existing knowledge and create new ideas.

" The best way to predict your future is to create it! "

Lesson 1 Defining Creativity

What is creativity?
Creativity mean as the art turning new and imaginative ideas into reality. Creativity involves thinking and producing.

Myth of Creativity
We have a lot of misconceptions when it to creativity.
1. Only special talented people are creative.
2. Being creative hard.
3. Problems are in our life to make it more difficult.
4. I am not creativity.
5. Innovation is the domain of geniuses.
6. I have to have brand new ideas order for me to be considered creative.
7. Brainstorming is hard work.
8. Only artists need to be creative.
9. Writer's block is a greatest obstacle in the creative process.
10. Using structures creative techniques will hinder my ability to be creative.

WEEK 1 : Creative and Creativity

This week was my first lecture class in my creative study. Our lecturer is Mr. Ahmad Radzi Bin Mohd Bedu. We had been given some introduction of creative study. The objective of creative study is ability to identify and carry out appropriate research, analysis and idea synthesis that will result in a unique personal statement.

Creativity mean ability to think up and design new ideas and concepts. It has been associated with right or forehead brain activity or even specifically with lateral thinking. While the definition of creative is ability or power to create a creative art works and with a lot of imaginations. It also promoting a construction or creation ideas.

Example our brain have divided into 2 part, there are left and right. People who creativeare using their right brain while intelligent are using their left brain to function it. Normally, our right brain will control our left part of our body and our left brain will control our right part of our body. 

In conclusion, we need to thinking intelligently to attract people or audience in any kind of ways. Thinking outside the box might be facilitated by having a somewhat less intact box.
